House Of Cards: Neflix Fires Kevin Spacey

House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey and Netflix will no longer be working together, due to allegations of sexual assault.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Rapp, 46, had alleged that a 26-year-old Spacey harassed him when he was just 14. Meanwhile Spacey, 58, in a Twitter post addressed the allegation, claiming he had no recollection of the event, but if he did behave as Rapp describes then he owes him “the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour while also declaring himself as gay.

According to an official statement released by the company, THR: “Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey. We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film Gore, which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey”.

Also, Spacey has been suspended from the series and this was confirmed by Media Rights Capital, in a statement issued: “While we continue the ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Kevin Spacey’s behaviour on the set of House of Cards, he has been suspended, effective immediately. MRC, in partnership with Netflix, will continue to evaluate a creative path forward for the program during the hiatus”.
