Cool FM Nigeria Celebrates 19 Years Of Sterling Broadcasting

Cool FM Lagos, your #1 Hit Music station marked its nineteenth anniversary in Lagos amidst pomp and pageantry. Besides Cool FM Lagos which was founded in October 1998, there are other frequencies which include Cool FM 95.9 Port Harcourt, Cool FM 96.9 Abuja and Cool FM 96.9 Kano.

Cool FM 96.9 Lagos is one of the most popular radio stations in the country; it operates in English language and plays a lot of popular music, 24 hours both on air and live online. It broadcasts to a format of 70% Urban contemporary (UC) and 30% Adult contemporary (AC) music content with their target audience being between 15 and 45 years of age.

Although it’s target audience is classified by age, the station tries to create programs that cut above this age group and attract other groups. With an international audience round the world, they engage people with some of their lively discussion programs and popular music by different musicians across the world.
