September 15 is the deadline
In Edo State, civil servants in the Ministry of Health have been given seven days to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or they will not be allowed into offices.
The ultimatum was contained in a memo issued yesterday by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Frederick Irabor.
The memo comes after Governor Godwin Obaseki, last Thursday, mandated residents of the state to take the vaccine, saying that from September 15, anyone who is yet to be inoculated would not be allowed into public places, such as banks and worship centres.
