Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has announced a 20-million-naira reward to anyone with useful information that can lead to the arrest of the killers of Doctor Chike Akunyili.
While condemning the attack on the deceased, the Governor called on youths in the state to protect their communities. Dr. Chike Akunyili was the widower of the late Dora Akunyili, the former minister of Information and Communications.
Also, the police have vowed to unmask the killers of Dr Chike Akunyili. The Commissioner of Police in Anambra, Tony Olofu, stated this while also vowing to deal with the killers of Dr Akunyili. He said efforts are already ongoing to that effect.
