Following the release of his debut album “Boy Alone,” Nigerian artist, Stanley Omah Didia, Popularly known as Omah Lay pulled up on the Midday Show with Do2dtun and Eve where they had a conversation about how he made his album and fighting depression.
Omah Lay recounts going through a tough time when he was working on his album, describing this period as one of the “hardest” times in his career because his life was “a mess” according to a track off his album “I'm A Mess”.
Omah Lay explains why he had to pour his heart and emotions into this album “I want to be able to speak the truth in my music,” he tells Do2dtun and Eve.
He also talked about having a serious “writer's block” while working on the album, which resulted in some frustration, and that's why he spent a lot of time working on this project.
