The song in no time became a favourite love tune in the country, with the video amassing over 13 million streams on YouTube. The artiste has since then dropped multiple singles.
Nonso Amadi recently released a single titled “Foreigner” after going years without releasing any song or project, which left a lot of his fans asking about his whereabouts.
He was on the #roadshow with Gucci and Gigi to shed some lights on the reason he has not released songs for the past two years.
“It was supposed to be a quick break but it turned out to be two years,” the artiste explains how his break took longer than expected, getting into trouble with fans because of the break.
However, he explained how learning the craft of production eased his stress of making song “being a producer makes you shape your idea as an artiste.”
Amadi, who is not only an artiste but also a producer and song-writer, is not the only modern-day artiste to earn this craft, as names like Omah Lay, Tems and other big names artiste are also producers.
