We hear that the Police have confiscated the three dogs that allegedly killed a security guard in Pinnock Estate, Ilasan, Lekki area of the state.

The police also confirmed the arrest of the owner of the dogs, Salisu Mustapha.

The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin said the dogs are in their custody and are receiving better treatment to avoid infringing on animal rights.

He said the command do not condone cruelty to animals.

Experts in the petroleum industry are increasingly concerned that the price of petrol could go as high as 1,500 naira per liter by December 2024.

This concern was raised by National Facilitator, Project with Artisanal Crude Oil Refiners, Fineface Dunamene, during an interview on Nigeria Info’s Hard Facts.

Dunamene highlighted the persistent rise in petrol prices over the past month, despite assurances from the federal government and the Dangote Refinery.

He says this increase has plunged many Nigerians further into poverty.
