Bella Shmurda has been very busy, especially when he started his own record label
In the news today, Bella Shmurda has been sued by his former record label One World Global Records for a breach of contract.
Shmurda's former business partners slapped several complaints against the singer.
The record label said the name ‘Belle Shmurda’ was copyrighted under their label, and that led to claiming all the works done by that name.
In addition to that, One World Global Records have accused the singer of failing to remit royalties to them, saying efforts to reach him have not been fruitful.
Bella Shmurda has been very busy, especially when he started his own record label, Dangbana Republik. He did that while still under contract at his old label. He has just released his latest project, 'High Tension 2.0'.
According to One World Global Records CEO, Nkem Onyenwenu, all efforts to get through to the singer have proved abortive so far. He also threatened that the label will not hesitate to file similar lawsuits against individuals or companies who are found to be aiding and abetting Bella Shmurda.
One World Global Records is seeking a court order to restrain Bella Shmurda from claiming his name, or the musical works produced in connection with it.
