This will be Burna's first time performing at the event
Grammy Awards Winner, Burna Boy has been named among those who will perform at a Billboard music event coming in May 2022.
The singer is likely to be among the first round of performers that will join this year's Icon Award recipient Mary J. Blige at the May 15 awards show.
NBC just released the first round of performances a few hours ago, including Nigeria's talented Burna Boy.
Megan Thee Stallion, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Latto, Burna Boy, and Rauw Alejandro are all slated to take the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas next month.
This will be Burna's first time performing at the event. However, he's not the only singer debuting at the event for the first time. Puerto Rican singer Alejandro, who is a finalist in four categories this year, is also making his first showing at the event.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards will air Sunday, May 15.
