D’banj marked his 20th anniversary in the music industry with the release of his single “04”
Music star D’banj is building anticipation for his upcoming album, “The Entertainer D’Sequel,” set for release on Friday, August 16.
In a newly released trailer, D’banj features an all-star cast, including Mavin Records’ Don Jazzy, Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke, media personality Jimi Akinsola, and himself.

Earlier this year, D’banj marked his 20th anniversary in the music industry with the release of his single “04” in May. He followed up with “Koko” in June, a modern take on his 2005 hit “Tongolo,” and “Worthy,” a collaboration with Senegalese legend Youssou N’Dour and Nigerian-American “The Voice” contestant Chechi Sarai.
Recall that the duo in 2008 released the first in the sequel with hits like 'Mogbo no Feli Feli,' 'Fall in Love,' 'Olounmaje' and 'Igwe.'
D'banj is reputed to be the first Nigerian artist to have made a debut on UK Singles Chart with his hit 'Oliver Twist.'
