“I’m just a jiggy kid’. BNXN began, as he shares information about his career with June Ubi. He follows the list of Nigerian artists to join June Ubi on the Colors studio interview.

Fast-rising Nigerian talent, BNXN formally known as Buju sat down with June Ubi and he talked about why he changed his name to ‘BNXN’ and also what his life was like before the fame and money.

“I’m just a low jiggy kid from Lagos Nigeria, my life has not been anything spectacular till now,” he explains.

BNXN explains how he has always had a strong musical influence in his life from childhood, even though he was prevented from watching music videos by his mum, due to explicit content.

“I changed my name to maintain authenticity,” the artist however reveals how he got the name Buju from Jamaica and the meaning of his former name.

He dropped his sophomore EP “Bad Since 97” featuring afrobeat heavy weights like Olamide, Wizkid, and Wande Coal. The seven track EP is out today 25th August 2022.
