Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel has revealed that his song doesn't encourage bad behavior or arrogance.
The song 'Buga' is undoubtedly one of the most popular songs in the country at the moment because it is the number one song on Apple Music’s Top 100 Chart in Nigeria, as well as one of the top five afrobeats songs in the world. It was also the most shazamed song in the world last week.
This song features Tekno, another top class singer from Nigeria.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, the singer said, Buga means to ‘Show Off’. However, in this context, it meant to honour hard effort, devotion, and accomplishment.
The singer said the following:
“after one has put in the work, one should let one’s results speak loudly. Enjoy your success. Whatever you’re seeing out there, whatever results the song is generating, that’s the result of hard work. I have consistently put in my best into all my songs. Nothing good comes easy.
