Adekunle Gold’s third studio album ‘Afro Pop Vol. 1′ was released on August 21, 2020, and now the album has reached a milestone when it comes to streaming numbers.

He shared the tracklist and streaming stats on Instagram, calling it his “most successful project yet.”

On his Instagram page, he wrote,

“Afro Pop Vol 1 is 1 today. I just want to say thank you guys for making it my most successful project yet! Big p @oluwagbeminiyi @jqlondon! We did it! This Album has changed my life. What are your fave songs? P.S Keep streaming.”

As such, it is one project that has a big impact on the singer's life. The stats he put out on Instagram shows the album has received 228 million streams.

With hits like ‘AG Baby‘ and ‘Something Different,’ as well as sleeper successes like ‘Okay’, the album has risen to great heights.

Also, Gold announces that he is now on a US tour of cities such as Texas, Minneapolis, California, Florida, and others from July 2 to October 2, 2021, crossing out the shows he completed.
