The Afrobeats artist definitely came correct with this party banger sound which was released on 24th March 2022, the title “Playboy” interprets the lyrics and the depth of the tune.
“Girl don't flex with the boy, your body is a mad thing, she wanna roll with the man dem when I drop you know it’s an anthem (whoof)” sings the chorus.
The beat was produced by one of Nigeria"s finest producers, Bizzouch.
The artist started the year with a bang when the queen of pop Madonna featured him on “Frozen” remix.
Fireboy dropped one of the biggest songs in 2021 “Peru”. The song was not only an instant hit in Nigeria but also globally, different Nigerian artists recorded covers to the song including “BNXN”. Peru gained International prominence when UK artist Ed Sheeran jumped on the remix. On 7th February 2022, “Peru” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Fireboy is also expected to drop his third studio album “Playboy” before the end of the year.
