Afro-pop singer Joeboy had an exquisite conversation at the colors studio interview where he revealed how he started his musical career and the names of his top three favorite Nigerian artists.
“I think the idea of me making music started from fun,” the Empawa record artist explains how he used to follow his brother who was a guitarist to choir rehearsals, although it was nothing serious, just vibes and freestyle led to his musical career.
However, Joeboy listed the names of his favorite Nigerian artists including some upcoming artists.
He also revealed top artists like Burna Boy, Asa, and Tiwa Savage, saying that “Tiwa has always been like my primary and secondary school crush”.
Joeboy certainly had more to say about life in Lagos, how he started his career, and interesting hobbies outside music.
