The multi-talented and legendary comedian Basketmouth who recently picked an interest in the music industry, started a record label named BARONS WORLD ENTERTAINMENT in 2014 although music used to be his “first love”.

Basketmouth dropped his debut album titled “Yabasi” in 2020. The album consisted of 10 tracks featuring 20 artists, names like Peruzzi, Iceprince, Phyno, Ladipoe, and other big Nigerian artists. He followed it up with another album which he dropped in early 2022 named “Horoscope”.

He was on the #middayshow with Do2dtun and Eve so he talked about the genesis of his career “I started music first before I did comedy” Basket shed more light on how he formed a rap group but could not make it work due to lack of acceptance as of that time, so he switched to comedy.

“Can you say you are fulfilled as a comedian?” Do2dtun asked him and he gave a really emotional answer about his journey and his achievements as a comedian in Nigeria. “I’m not fulfilled in comedy yet, there are places I would love to perform and people I would love to perform with. But in Nigeria, I feel fulfilled” He explained things and plans he still has for comedy globally.
