Talented Mavin Records rapper and one of the fiercest voices in the Nigerian hip hop scene, Ladipoe was on The Late Night Show with Kemi Smallz, the rapper certainly had a lot to say about his latest single “Big Energy”, career growth, and changing his name from Poe to Ladipoe.

Following the success of his Ep “Providence” and his latest Mavin Records all-star collaboration “Overdose”, the artist drops his first single of the year titled “Big Energy”. 

The catchy rap song has been one of the hottest singles since its release, and he described this single as how he has been feeling since the beginning of the year.

“Big energy is an eternal thing. You just knowing your value, you knowing what you stand for, knowing what you came here to do if you are confident in these facts, nobody can shake you from this,” he explained.

However, Ladipoe revealed his plans to promote this new track, confirming that an “Open Verse” involving fans will be revealed soon.

Shortly after he was signed to Mavins Records in 2017, he changed his name from Poe to Ladipoe.
 
The artist explained that few months after the release of “Man Already” which was uploaded on Spotify, they got a mail from the legal team of an American Folk singer using the name Poe already, so he had to change his name to Ladipoe.
