Every artist has a definition of their sound, Joeboy pops up on the Midday Show with Do2dtun and Eve, where they had a conversation about his sound, how he handles pressure, and his unique sound.

The Afrobeats artist explained why his sound is quite unique and distinct while speaking to Do2dtun and Eve. “My lyrics are coming from within” which explains the inspiration behind the term “Spiritual Gbedu”.

We can’t deny the contribution of pressure to creativity, Joeboy attests to the fact that pressure gets to him sometimes but he doesn’t allow it to take over his creativity. “I am human and I care about my career and my craft.”

Over the years, Joeboy has been one of the few artists to have mastered the act of delivering great choruses, and he believes that’s the most important part of his music or we say the most catchy part of his songs, “Sip” is a testament to that.

Watch the full interview to find out everything you need to know about Joeboy’s inspiration and what he has to say about the change in his sound.
