"Why I Like Recording Music In Dark Spaces" - Dice Ailes

Multi-versatile Canadian based Nigerian singer Dice Ailes was on the roadshow with Gucci and Gigi and they had pretty interesting conversations.

Multi-versatile Canadian based Nigerian singer Dice Ailes was on the roadshow with Gucci and Gigi and they had pretty interesting conversations. 

The artist reveals the type of music he feels comfortable doing, why he likes recording in the dark, why he started his record label, and even down to what he spends most of his money on.

“Apparently, I heard something that you love to record in dark spaces,” Gucci asked.

The artiste explains why he enjoys recording in dark spaces, and the vibes it adds to his music and thought process.

“I don't know, I just like cozy vibes, I can't record when it's too noisy or when there's too much going on, I just like being in my own space.”

The artist established his record label  “The Money Mob Entertainment” in 2019 following his exit from Chocolate City.

“My contract expired with the previous label and it was time for me to move on, so I started my own thing “TMM Entertainment” he added.

Dice Ailes signed a Nigerian Dj, Dj Yankee recently. “We put out a song for him late last year,” Dj Yankee featured Blaqbones and Cheque on the song. 

However Dice Ailes reveals how he recorded “Pim Pim” one of his hit tracks Featuring multi-talented Nigerian rapper Olamide.

“Olamide recorded his verse under ten minutes,” he explains.
