Reports say trouble started after traders at Alaba international market refused to pay taxes to the thugs.

According to the spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Rapid Response Service and men of the Ojo Police Division are on the ground at the location and are being supervised by the Area Commander Festac, ACP Igbafe Afegbai.
