That's according to the West African Examinations Council which says the National Identification Number would become mandatory to register for the school certificate examination from 2022.
WAEC's Head of National Office, Patrick Areghan, revealed this at a press conference on Tuesday, adding that the development is in line with the Federal Government’s policy as directed by the Federal Ministry of Education.
He added that the exams will be held under strict Covid-19 protocols.
