The DMW boss David Adeleke popularly known as Davido is allegedly fined 190 million naira for breaking the O2 arena curfew law.

The Afrobeats singer, who had a sold-out concert on the 5th of March 2022 at the 20,000 London capacity stadium has been called out by a fan on Twitter Marvin Abbey who attended the concert, the Twitter user claimed that Davido has been fined £10,000 per minute for not ending his show 11 pm.

The tweet reads “Davido was supposed to finish his concert at the O2 @ 11 pm. The O2 has a strict 11 pm curfew. For every minute you go past 11 pm you have to pay £10,000.

Davido said he doesn’t care. He finished the concert at 23:34. That’s £340,000 fine.

The Twitter user was called out by Davido’s fan base “30BG” for hating on the success of the event. So he dropped another tweet to buttress his point

“All the people saying I’m lying about the Davido tweet . The O2 curfew is nothing new. Read up on it, I don’t have time to argue. The Rolling Stones & Justin Bieber have also been fined in the past. It’s actually Greenwich council that issue the fine.”

However, nothing has been confirmed yet, as 02 arena management staff are yet to issue out an official statement about this.
