Popular Nigerian celebrity, David Adeleke, also known as Davido or Obo who recently had a sold-out concert at the O2 arena has received a Plaque for the achievement.

Popular Nigerian celebrity, David Adeleke, also known as Davido or Obo who recently had a sold-out concert at the O2 arena has received a Plaque for the achievement.

The O2 concert which the DMW boss titled “We Rise by Lifting Others” occurred on 5th of March 2022 at the 20,000 London capacity stadium. Davido performed alongside some Nigerian artists like Adekunle Gold, Skibii, Pheelz, Zlatan, and others.

The singer took to his Instagram page to announce his return to the O2 arena around the same time his compatriot Wizkid just concluded three days concert at the same arena.

Although Davido was taunted by some fans for not selling out the O2 Arena, snapshots of vacant places in the arena were uploaded. However, Davido maintains that his show was sold out.

With this plaque presented to Davido by O2 arena, it proves the show was a sold-out concert. And the artiste also promised to return to this iconic UK stadium to host another legendary concert.
