Following the release of a new wave and sound "Ojapiano" OG singer and songwriter Kcee joined Do2dtun on the superstar Wednesday.
The hitmaker Kcee, spoke about taking time off music, briefly going into Gospel Music, and the way fans reacted to his gospel music.
"When I did gospel music, a lot of people said it was over, that I'm going back to my village," he opens up to Do2dtun.
Kcee finally makes a comeback to the mainstream with his newest jam "Ojapiano" a soothing infusion of local sound into an Amapiano beat, the continuous sensation of the flute instrument, and the local Konga drum.
Kcee shared the journey of how different producers told him that this new sound won't work. "They told me Oja Sound doesn't sit down on key".
However, the artist is grateful that he has been able to prove doubters wrong after waiting for three years just to get his sound and brand right.
"If you watched my video with Skibii I started wearing a face mask, you will know I'm selling a new sound, and I'm intentional about it".
The Limpopo crooner explained to Do2dtun how he had taken his time to rebrand his fashion and music, putting on a mask and his recent sound "Ojapiano".
